About Andrew
Andrew has been presenting his Punch and Judy shows for over 35 years, performing his shows at festivals, carnivals and special events across the country. He originally learned the art of the Punch and Judy show from the late, great Professor Bill Dane who was the resident Punch and Judy performer at Aberystwyth's promenade from 1985 - 1995. Following this training, Andrew regularly performed at The Groves Bandstand, Chester from 1990 - 2000. |
In addition to presenting Punch and Judy shows, Andrew has worked as a Theatre Practitioner in education since 1999. His script writing includes ‘Tailor Made Love’, ‘Hunch’, 'Mourning Post', 'Tacet', 'The Misadventures of Mystic Mike' and ‘The Phil Brodie Comedy Show’. Andrew is on the Board of Directors for The Chester Mystery Plays.
Training and Qualifications:
Andrew studied Theatre BA (hons) at Dartington College of Arts and then a PGCE in Drama Teaching at the University of Wales, Aberystwyth. He completed his MA in Teaching and Learning at the University of Chester. More recently, he completed the National Professional Qualification for Headship (NPQH) and holds Chartered Status (CTEACH Leadership) from the Chartered College of Teaching.
